Whitney & Jarod: Sneak Peek! | Brooklyn Engagement Photographer | Brooklyn Bridge Park | DUMBO
I met up with Whitney and Jarod this Tuesday evening for an engagement session in Brooklyn. We scheduled their session right at the golden hour before sunset, and were rewarded with some GORGEOUS light! Loads more where these came from, stay tuned!

Karen & Moe | NY City Hall Wedding Photographer | NYC Elopement Photography
Karen and Moe came down from Canada a few weeks ago to get hitched at City Hall. I had a fantastic time with them both. These two are clearly very much in love and it was a wonderful day to wander through the city snapping all sorts of fun photos!
City Hall was crazy that Friday, so we snuck outside for a few photos while we waited for their number to be called.
These guys were pretty excited to be married. Couples like Karen and Moe are why I adore shooting elopements.
Married, hurrah! High fives all around! 
From there we wandered a bit through Tribeca, and then jumped on the train across the river to Brooklyn Heights.
The new bridge they’ve put in to the park down from the promenade is awesome for photos with the skyline and some green space.
I love how green the Brooklyn Bridge Park is!
We finished off the evening with a trip back into Manhattan up to the NY Public Library.

Jin & Matt | NYC Enagement Photography | South Street Seaport
Jin and Matt. I had an absolute ball with these two and am so thrilled with how this session turned out. It’s been awhile since I shot at the Seaport, so I was super excited when they picked it for their location. While it rained on and off throughout the morning, we made the best of it, nothing an umbrella or a quick duck under an overhang can’t solve!
Jin and Matt are an adorable couple, and if how much they laugh together is any indication, they are pretty darn happy in love. Enjoy the photos!

Benita & Frank | Brooklyn Maternity Phtoographer | Brooklyn Bridge Park
Benita emailed me a few weeks ago saying she was 34 weeks pregnant and that she and her husband had suddenly gotten the urge to take some maternity photos, and could I squeeze them in? Of course! Have I mentioned how much I love some beautiful belly sessions? And holy moly, this was a beautiful session for sure!
Aren’t they cute?
We met on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and then made our way down to the Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo.
Love this.

Brooklyn Portrait Photographer | Jess and Jeff
Jessica is an old co-worker of mine and one my most favorite ladies. Jess and her husband Jeff planned a trip out to NYC to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. While they were in town, Jessica asked me if I would take some photos of the two of them to commemorate the occasion. We chose to head down by the Brooklyn Bridge/DUMBO area as that’s where they originally got engaged.
I couldn’t be more excited about these photos! The two of them were SO much fun to work with and definitely brought the sass and the goofiness without my even asking!

Brooklyn Engagement Photographer | Juviza and Gihuber
When I’m not taking photos, my day job is managing an Americorps program at a community health center. Juviza was part of the first crew of Americorps I took over when I started. We had a great time taking photos down by the Brooklyn Bridge and I’m so excited to be a part of her wedding in a few short weeks!

Last weekend I met Serena and Sean at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens for their engagement session. These two are from Taiwan and are getting married this summer in Central Park before going back to Asia for a big celebration.
