Jon & Katie | NYC Elopement Photographer | Central Park | City Hall
Jon and Katie came across the pond from the UK to get hitched at City Hall in New York City this past September. We met up first at Central Park for photos around the Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge, and then made our way down to City Hall. These two had a beautiful day and were a blast to work with! Rebekah & Casey: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | City Hall Wedding | Central Park
Rebekah and Casey flew in from Ohio to elope at City Hall! I had a wonderful morning with these two, and am so excited the fall colors finally popped in Central Park!

Jon & Katie: Sneak Peek! | Central Park | City Hall | NYC Elopement Photographer
Jon and Katie hopped over from the UK to get married this past week at City Hall. I had a lovely afternoon with them both, more to come!

Karen & Moe | NY City Hall Wedding Photographer | NYC Elopement Photography
Karen and Moe came down from Canada a few weeks ago to get hitched at City Hall. I had a fantastic time with them both. These two are clearly very much in love and it was a wonderful day to wander through the city snapping all sorts of fun photos!
City Hall was crazy that Friday, so we snuck outside for a few photos while we waited for their number to be called.
These guys were pretty excited to be married. Couples like Karen and Moe are why I adore shooting elopements.
Married, hurrah! High fives all around! 
From there we wandered a bit through Tribeca, and then jumped on the train across the river to Brooklyn Heights.
The new bridge they’ve put in to the park down from the promenade is awesome for photos with the skyline and some green space.
I love how green the Brooklyn Bridge Park is!
We finished off the evening with a trip back into Manhattan up to the NY Public Library.

Karen & Moe: Sneak Peek! | Manhattan City Hall Wedding Photographer | Brooklyn Bridge Park
I had the most delightful afternoon with Karen and Moe! These two flew in from Toronto to get hitched in the city. More to come soon, but we had a wonderful time wandering through Brooklyn and then finished up the session at the NY Public Library!

Corinne & Esteban | NYC City Hall Wedding Photographer | NY Public Library
Corinne is from Switzerland, Esteban is Costa Rican. They met at grad school in Belgium and now call NYC home. This wedding was a truly global affair! They were married on one of the rainiest Friday’s I’ve seen in a long time, so we nixed our plans for Brooklyn skylines and met up at Grand Central instead for some indoor photos.
When the rain slowed down a bit, I suggested we pop over to the NY Public Library as well to see if we could at least get something with more natural light protected by the overhang. Success!
These guys were so incredibly stylish! Aren’t their outfits the best?
If you’re visiting the city and haven’t been to the public library by Bryant Park yet, I highly suggest stopping by. The inside is simply gorgeous.
From there we hopped in a cab and headed to down to City Hall for their ceremony!
They were surrounded by friends and family from all over!
Esteban’s reaction to the clerk asking if anyone knew of a reason they shouldn’t be married.

Rowena & Kevin | NYC Elopement Photographer | City Hall | 6BC Botanical Garden
Rowena and Kevin were married on a very rainy Friday, just a few weeks ago. Despite the weather, we had a wonderful time and these guys make such an adorable couple!
We started off the morning at City Hall with Kevin’s parents.
Married!
After the wedding, we braved the rain and they took me to my new favorite green space in the city. The 6BC Botanical Garden is gorgeous! A tiny little oasis tucked away in the east village near avenue C, I don’t think there could be a lovelier spot for photos! I would LOVE to have the chance to take more photos here!

Kyle & Agustina | NYC Elopement Photographer | City Hall | Brooklyn Bridge Park
Kyle and Agustina are a fabulous couple! I met up with them for their photos early in the morning this past May at Brooklyn Bridge Park. I love couples that are willing to brave the early am wake up call to make beautiful photos! Dawn light is so lovely.
They brought along balloons to the shoot which made things extra colorful and fun!
Kyle’s only request was that a dinosaur balloon be present. I happily obliged, and am fairly certain I now have the only wedding photos that include a red T-Rex.
After the park, we also headed through DUMBO just a bit before heading over to City Hall for the ceremony.

They managed to draw 666 and station 13. How’s that for some lucky numbers?
Agustina’s brother in law and niece, so cute!
After the wedding, we grabbed a few more photos outside City Hall. We also wandered over to the Balloon Saloon, where they had gotten the aforementioned balloons. This place is SO fun.
Also, Kyle is a fellow Minnesotan (and Gopher alumni!) and Agustina is from Argentina. So I figured this globe balloon was appropriate!

Rowena & Kevin: Sneak Peek! | NYC City Hall Wedding Photographer | 6BC Botanical Garden
I had a fabulous morning with Rowena and Kevin today, despite the buckets and buckets of rain Mother Nature decided to pour down. They were married at City Hall and then, even with the showers, decided to take me to their secret green garden in Alphabet City. This place is now going to be my go-to spot for SURE. Absolutely gorgeous.

Molly & Chris | City Hall Wedding Photographer | Central Park
Molly and Chris are fellow Minnesotans who decided to make the trip to New York City to elope! I met them at their hotel in Midtown while they finished getting ready and then we hopped in a cab and headed off to City Hall.
These guys were so laid back the entire day! Exactly why I LOVE shooting elopements!
Married! Then we jetted up to Central Park for a few more portraits to finish off the afternoon!
