Jon and Katie came across the pond from the UK to get hitched at City Hall in New York City this past September. We met up first at Central Park for photos around the Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge, and then made our way down to City Hall. These two had a beautiful day and were a blast to work with! Sarah & Pete : Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | 6BC Community Garden
Yesterday I got to spend the afternoon with Sarah and Pete, who made their way up from Perth, Australia to get hitched in the city. I’m not sure I could ask for more ideal clients then these two! They were married in one of my absolute favorite little gardens in Alphabet City, and then we headed out for a grand photo tour of NYC from the warehouses of Greenpoint, Brookyln to the streets of Gramercy. Amazing! More to come!

Laura & Fabio | New York City Elopement Photographer | Prospect Park | City Hall
Laura and Fabio are the reason I LOVE referrals Offbeat Bride! I don’t think I’ve had a more colorful couple then these two! How fun is Laura’s dress? It’s not everyday you get a bride rocking pop art! 
I met these guys in Prospect Park in Brooklyn and we had a great time wandering around and snapping loads of fun photos before catching a cab to City Hall in Manhattan for the ceremony. Laura, Fabio and the two bridesmaids had a mountain of energy and it was a blast keeping up with them and their hilarious antics all through the park.
So cute!
Off to City Hall! These two are so in love, it’s impossible not to smile.

Eunice & Mamadou | NYC Elopement Photographer | City Hall
Couples like Eunice and Mamadou are why I love New York City. Eunice is from the Dominican Republic and Mamadou hails from Gambia in West Africa. There aren’t too many other places where people from these two countries would cross paths on a regular basis. But in the Bronx, it’s par for the course, and that’s pretty awesome. It’s also not too often that I get to work with couples where I can show off the one phrase in Wolof I learned while in Senegal, always a win in my book! 
Eunice and Mamadou got married on a pretty rainy day that also happened to be insanely busy at City Hall. However, we made the best of the long wait and still got photos outside with the help of a cute umbrella!
Generally when I do elopements, it’s just me and the couple, or perhaps one other person. However, Eunice had her whole family out for the occasion. It’s about the most people I’ve seen in the little City Hall chapel, and it was pretty fantastic!

This might be one of my favorites from the whole day. I absolutely love the look on her face.
