Christine & Alex | Vermont Engagement Photography | Dog Mountain

I met up with Christine and Alex a few weeks ago near their home in St. Johnsbury, Vermont for an engagement session. We had a wonderful morning wandering around Dog Mountain, a beautiful area complete with cool barns, hiking trails, wildflowers, and beautiful mountain views. You really can’t go wrong, and these two were super fun and made my job easy.

I love these fields of wildflowers so very much. Vermont (and Christine and Alex ;-) ), you’re lovely.

Frolic through the field? Always.

Mountain valley views? I’ll take it.

What on earth? Cool art in a tree. Obviously. :-)

I always love a good reflection.

After wandering around a bit, we finished things up with a cocktail of some tasty local cider in the shade. Because that’s the way we roll around here.

Best wishes on your wedding!!

Amy & Jenn: Sneak Peek! | Philadelphia Engagement Photographer

I spent this afternoon down in Philadelphia hanging out with Amy and Jenn. It was my first time in the city, and these two girls are so much fun and gave me an excellent photo tour of the town!

Oh, and yep. They’re ridiculously cute in love. :-) I had a terrible time picking just a few for this sneak peek! Loads more where this came from!

 More to come soon!

Brittany & Elijah | New York City Engagement Photographer | Museum of Natural History

You have to automatically love any post that starts with a T-Rex right?

Brittany and Elijah are another one of my awesome couples that came from Offbeat Bride. They’re getting married this winter at Housing Works (so cool!) and wanted to do their engagement shoot at a fun location as well. When Brittany emailed me to see what I thought about the Natural History Museum, I was SO excited! YES! times one million. :-) I love when couples pick unique locations and it was so fun to wander around the museum with these two, and get in some dinosaur bones to boot!

Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen any two people laugh more about dinosaurs then these two did.

Yep, they make a pretty gorgeous couple, wouldn’t you say?

One of my favorites for sure!

I love the 8 gazillion cool things on this wall. :-)

After the museum, we also went for a quick stroll in Central Park for a few outdoor photos.

And then we got the brilliant idea that they should probably recreate their favorite dinosaurs from the morning.

Awesome. :-)

Brittany and Elijah, I am ridiculously excited for your wedding in January! Thanks so much for a fantastically fun afternoon!
