Pauline & Leanne: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | New York City Hall Wedding
Hey everyone! I’m back from an amazing trip and ready to kick off the 2015 season. I can’t think of a better way to start things off then with this super fun city hall elopement. I had an absolute ball with these two aussie ladies this morning. We got through City Hall in record time and then they were troopers through the cold and we had a great time wandering all through Tribeca and down to the waterfront.
Huge congrats to Pauline and Leanne! More to come, safe travels back to Sydney!

I had a lovely afternoon with these two, who came down from Canada to elope in New York! They were married at City Hall and then we popped over the bridge for photos around Brooklyn Bridge Park. More to come!
Congratulations to you both!
Gemma & Jordan | New York Elopement Photographer | City Hall Wedding
I had such a lovely morning with these two Aussies! Gemma and Jordan made the trip from down under to get married on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the summer. However they were troopers in the heat, and reason number 436 why taking photos early morning is the way to go. These guys were so laid back, in fact, the airlines lost Gemma’s luggage and she had to buy a wedding dress the day before. But she handled it in stride and still ended up in a lovely dress, take that for being relaxed under pressure!
I had such a great time with this session as Gemma and Jordan said they just wanted to wander the city and find some great streets, awesome! As much as I love Central Park, there are so many wonderful little nooks and neighborhoods in this city, exploring them with a fun loving couple camera in hand is one of my favorite things! For this session we wandered down through Soho and then hopped over to Tribeca and the waterfront before heading across to City Hall for their ceremony where we met up with their friends. Gemma even finished off the afternoon with a bouquet toss off the courthouse steps! Awesome.
Gemma and Jordan, thanks so much to you both! Congratulations and best wishes! ![]()
Sam & CeCe | NYC Elopement Photographer | Tribeca
Sam and CeCe are my first couple to come all the way from Alaska to elope in NYC! They opted to get married at City Hall and then meet up with me afterwards for a few photos around lower Manhattan. We strolled through Tribeca and then finished up with a few photos on the Highline.
Congratulations to you both!

Lots more to come, congratulations guys!

More to come.
Congratulations to you both!
Sarah & Pete | Elope in New York City | 6BC Botanical Garden | The Highline
Sarah and Pete, you guys made for SUCH a fantastic day! These two teachers came all the way from Western Australia to get hitched in NYC! I’m pretty sure that’s about as far as you can possibly travel for a wedding. And they brought the awesome. Sarah let on that she had been religiously stalking my blog for photo ideas and we took a grand tour of the city to make all sorts of magic happen. ![]()
They started off with a ceremony and one of my most favorite gardens in the city, the 6BC Botanical Garden in Alphabet City. Their ceremony was officiated by the always wonderful Judie Guild with their close family present. One of my favorite little details I’ve seen in some time, they read their vows off of vintage NYC postcards! How cool is that? After delicious cupcakes, we took a few more photos in the garden, and then headed off! From the skyline views and colorful streets of Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Tribeca, The Highline, and Washington Mews, these guys rocked! I can’t thank you both enough for being so wonderful!
Loads of congratulations to you both! (And I will be asking to meet up for a beer someday when I make my way down under! )
Sarah & Pete : Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | 6BC Community Garden
Yesterday I got to spend the afternoon with Sarah and Pete, who made their way up from Perth, Australia to get hitched in the city. I’m not sure I could ask for more ideal clients then these two! They were married in one of my absolute favorite little gardens in Alphabet City, and then we headed out for a grand photo tour of NYC from the warehouses of Greenpoint, Brookyln to the streets of Gramercy. Amazing! More to come!
Congrats guys!
Krina & Prat | NYC Elopement Photographer | Shakespeare Garden | Tribeca
After meeting with Krina and Prat a few months before their wedding, I knew it was going to be awesome. While they are having a big, more traditional Indian wedding next spring, they wanted something small that could be just for them this summer, hence the elopement. Krina said they were looking for colorful and fun, two things I always LOVE to hear and knew would make fabulous photos! ![]()
They were married on a beautiful summer evening a few weeks ago in the Shakespeare Garden in Central Park by the wonderful Lawrence Greco (my second wedding by a Buddhist Monk!) surrounded by their parents and sisters. It was a beautiful ceremony with both Krina and Prat writing their own vows. I love how expressive these two are, their faces during the ceremony were great! ![]()
Hurray!
After the ceremony, we wandered through the garden and Central Park taking all sorts of fun photos. These two are complete goof balls and had no problem hamming it up. I’m pretty sure we were laughing the whole time! ![]()
After Central Park, we grabbed a cab down to Tribeca where they were meeting their family later for dinner.
Krina and Prat immediately asked for a stop at the Balloon Saloon for some monkeying around, which I am always happy to oblige.
This place is super fun!
Superman to rescue the damsel in distress!
A ceremony by Batman? We can do that.
Then on to explore the neighborhood. I love when couples are willing to just wander the streets and go for it. This area has so many cool little spots and fantastic architecture.
I LOVE cool doorways, and bright colors? Double win.
Krina and Prat, you guys rock. I had a fantastic time. Thanks SO much for having me and I wish you two the very best, Congratulations!
Krina & Prat: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | Shakespeare Garden | Tribeca
Krina and Prat were married yesterday in Shakespeare’s Garden in Central Park. After the wedding we roamed the park for a bit and then headed down to Tribeca.
I had such a fantastically fun time with them both! More to come!
I also just have to say, when I get couples who specifically ask to take wedding photos with monkey balloons, I know my job is coolest.
Best wedding portrait ever. Krina and Prat, you guys rule!
