Sarah and Pete, you guys made for SUCH a fantastic day! These two teachers came all the way from Western Australia to get hitched in NYC! I’m pretty sure that’s about as far as you can possibly travel for a wedding. And they brought the awesome. Sarah let on that she had been religiously stalking my blog for photo ideas and we took a grand tour of the city to make all sorts of magic happen. 🙂
They started off with a ceremony and one of my most favorite gardens in the city, the 6BC Botanical Garden in Alphabet City. Their ceremony was officiated by the always wonderful Judie Guild with their close family present. One of my favorite little details I’ve seen in some time, they read their vows off of vintage NYC postcards! How cool is that? After delicious cupcakes, we took a few more photos in the garden, and then headed off! From the skyline views and colorful streets of Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Tribeca, The Highline, and Washington Mews, these guys rocked! I can’t thank you both enough for being so wonderful!
Loads of congratulations to you both! (And I will be asking to meet up for a beer someday when I make my way down under! )
