More to come.
Congratulations to you both!
Jeni & Tim: Sneak Peek! | NYC Wedding Photography | Central Park Conservatory Gardens
Jeni and Tim were so much fun! They were married last night in the Conservatory Gardens, and then we headed down to the reception taking photos in the Meatpacking District and the West Village along the way. Lots more to come, enjoy the sneak peek! Congrats to you both!
Lynda & Andy | Elope at NYC City Hall | Brooklyn Bridge Park
Lynda and Andy travelled all the way from Hawaii to elope in New York City! These two came to me via Offbeat Bride, and I couldn’t have been happier to work with both of them. Lynda and Andy are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. And, they’ve known each other since the 4th grade! How cute is that?
We met up in Brooklyn Bridge Park early one Friday morning hoping for skyline views. Mother nature had other plans, huge clouds of fog. While it wasn’t what I originally had in mind, I think it actually turned out pretty magical. I had so much fun wandering around the park and into DUMBO with these two. After loads of photos, we grabbed a cab up to City Hall for their ceremony, and then hopped up to the Highline to finish off the afternoon.
Lynda and Andy, congratulations and best wishes! I had such a wonderful time, thanks so much for everything!
Sarah & Pete | Elope in New York City | 6BC Botanical Garden | The Highline
Sarah and Pete, you guys made for SUCH a fantastic day! These two teachers came all the way from Western Australia to get hitched in NYC! I’m pretty sure that’s about as far as you can possibly travel for a wedding. And they brought the awesome. Sarah let on that she had been religiously stalking my blog for photo ideas and we took a grand tour of the city to make all sorts of magic happen. ![]()
They started off with a ceremony and one of my most favorite gardens in the city, the 6BC Botanical Garden in Alphabet City. Their ceremony was officiated by the always wonderful Judie Guild with their close family present. One of my favorite little details I’ve seen in some time, they read their vows off of vintage NYC postcards! How cool is that? After delicious cupcakes, we took a few more photos in the garden, and then headed off! From the skyline views and colorful streets of Greenpoint, Brooklyn to Tribeca, The Highline, and Washington Mews, these guys rocked! I can’t thank you both enough for being so wonderful!
Loads of congratulations to you both! (And I will be asking to meet up for a beer someday when I make my way down under! )
Chris & Gio: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | Washington Mews | The Highline
Today was a fantastic day in New York City. Sunny, beautiful, and these two handsome guys got married! I had a wonderful afternoon with Chris and Gio. We toured everywhere from Washington Square Park and the Washington Mews near NYU (my new favorite photo spot!) up to Madison Square Park and the Highline. There’s lots more where these came from, but enjoy the sneak peek for now! Congratulations to you both!!
They had their rings made from New York State quarters! How cool!!
Keri & Andre | City Hall Wedding Photographer | NYC Elopement | The Highline
Keri and Andre hopped over from the UK this May to get hitched in New York City. These guys were incredibly sweet and fun! We had a wonderful time wandering the Highline and through the Meatpacking district after their ceremony City Hall on the most beautiful day ever. I also found out they are fellow scuba divers and are taking their honeymoon to the Maldives! I couldn’t be more jealous!
PS. City Hall will in fact give you a different number if you’re superstitious. These guys rolled the dice with their lucky number. ![]()
After the wedding we snapped a few photos around the Courthouse and then grabbed a cab uptown to the Highline.
I’m not sure they could be happier if the tried! ![]()
Congratulations Keri and Andre!! Many years of happiness to you both! ![]()
Emma & Steven | NYC Elopement Photographer | City Hall | The Highline
Emma and Steven hopped across the pond from the UK to get hitched at City Hall in Manhattan. These two were super laid back and we had a wonderful time snapping portraits around City Hall and then catching a ride up to the Highline to finish off the afternoon.
City Hall was crazy busy for their Friday afternoon wedding, so we had their friends watch the ticket numbers while we headed out for a few quick portraits!
No shortage of fun back inside for the ceremony! ![]()
After the wedding we caught a ride up to the Highline for a few more portaits!
Such a cute family!
Congrats guys!! Best wishes to you both! ![]()
Emma & Steven: Sneak Peek! | City Hall Wedding Photographer | NYC Elopement | The Highline
A quick glimpse at today’s elopement with Emma and Steven, portraits at the Highline and City Hall in Manhattan. Congrats guys!
Christina & Amanda | New York City Elopement Photographer | Central Park | NYC
Right around the time I got an email from Christina asking about photographing her and Amanda’s elopement I was about as swamped as possible. I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to take on any more events in late June/July. And then I got the most enthusiastic, energetic email from the “brides squared.”
That was it. I knew I had to take on one more. And I’m SO glad I did.
You guys, these two ladies? They’re awesome. I had such a fabulous time with both of them! I met them at their hotel early Monday morning, and then it was off on an NYC photo adventure. We headed out to Central Park for the ceremony with the lovely Judie Guild, and then hopped on the subway all over town. Grand Central, Times Square, the Highline. Topping everything off with margaritas in the meatpacking district. I couldn’t have asked for more and am so proud of how their images turned out!
The rockin’ kicks. ![]()
They found a beautiful little spot under the Gapstow Bridge for the ceremony.
This is love. This right here.
Off to Grand Central!
A stop in Times Square for some more lovely photos!
Happiness. ![]()
Completely smitten with this image.
My favorite.
To the wives squared: congratulations!!
I wish you many years of fantastic adventures together! Thank you so much for having me!! ![]()
Ellen & Justin | New York City Elopement Photographer | Central Park | Sneak Peek!
I met up with Ellen and Justin yesterday morning for their elopement in Central Park at Wagner’s Cove. These two are so cute together! We had a wonderful time wandering the park and then heading down to the high line for portraits. We even got to stop for ice cream! Win for everyone!
More to come!
