Jon & Katie | NYC Elopement Photographer | Central Park | City Hall
Jon and Katie came across the pond from the UK to get hitched at City Hall in New York City this past September. We met up first at Central Park for photos around the Bethesda Terrace and Bow Bridge, and then made our way down to City Hall. These two had a beautiful day and were a blast to work with! Thanks so much for having me and congratulations to you both!
Andrea & Chris: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | Central Park | Wagner’s Cove
Oh my goodness, do I fall love in Central Park!
Andrea and Chris came over from the UK to get married in Wagner’s Cove this afternoon and it was just perfect. I had such a great time wandering all over the park with these two, and the fall colors are right at their peak. More to come!
Congratulations guys!

Elizabeth & Blake: Sneak Peek! | Central Park Arsenal | NYC Wedding Photographer
This was one crazy wedding weekend! On Saturday, I had the pleasure of working with Beth and Blake in Central Park. These two were fabulous and they had the absolute perfect day for a rooftop park wedding. Yes, you heard correctly. Married on a rooftop with skyline views at sunset in Central Park? Yes, please. More to come!
Congratulations!
Amanda & Debra: Sneak Peek! | Central Park Elopement Photographer | New York City
I had a lovely morning in Central Park with Amanda and Debra, my first brides from Texas!
More to come from these to soon, enjoy the sneak peek!
Congrats ladies!
Krina & Prat: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | Shakespeare Garden | Tribeca
Krina and Prat were married yesterday in Shakespeare’s Garden in Central Park. After the wedding we roamed the park for a bit and then headed down to Tribeca.
I had such a fantastically fun time with them both! More to come!
I also just have to say, when I get couples who specifically ask to take wedding photos with monkey balloons, I know my job is coolest.
Best wedding portrait ever. Krina and Prat, you guys rule!
Carol & Bob: Sneak Peek! | NYC Elopement Photographer | Central Park | City Hall
You guys, Carol and Bob are the real deal. They met 18 years ago, and couldn’t have been more giddy and overflowing with love and happiness on their wedding day. It’s couples like these that make me adore shooting elopements so very much. Also, they live together on a sailboat! How cool is that?
So much more to come!
Kris & David | Central Park Wedding Photographer | NYC Elopement Photographer
Kris and David are fire fighters with my dad back in Minnesota. When I was home to visit this past winter, my parents had apparently mentioned I photographed weddings in the city, and we were able to set up a meeting that same weekend!
I’ve come to love small simple weddings and elopements, and Central Park is a great location for these kind of events. These two had a beautiful ceremony in Wagner’s Cove on the lake, the perfect place for a small secluded wedding in the park. Before the ceremony we wandered around and had fun snapping photos and being run over by crazy groups of school kids on the great lawn!

What firefighter wedding is complete without a stop at the local firehouse?
Congrats Kris and David! I had a ball photographing your wedding! I hope you enjoyed your trip to NYC!
Rachel & Garrick | Central Park Wedding Photographer
When I was on my way to meet Rachel and Garrick for the first time, I had had a terrible afternoon at work. However, all of that evaporated the second I ran into Rachel. I know they said it about 800 times during toasts at the reception, but this girl just exudes happiness and lights up the room. You can not be around her and not smile. I couldn’t be more excited about this couple. What a great way to kick off the wedding season!
Their wedding was centered around a theme of artichokes, including everything from the bouquet to the center pieces.
Isn’t she the cutest bride ever?

Rachel and Garrick were supposed to be married at Cherry Hill in Central Park. However, due to all the horse and pedi cab traffic, decided to move things around, oh, 15 minutes before things got started. Now that’s a laid back couple! We decided on a grassy hill just around the corner, and things worked out wonderfully.

I love this photo of Rachel and her dad.

They had all of the guests bless their rings.
After the wedding, because they’re awesome, everyone took the subway to the reception at 320 Studios.
The reception at 320 Studios in midtown was lovely. Beautiful open space with lots of windows, including a terrace to enjoy the spring evening!

I love the red shoe change for the reception!
Rachel and Garrick, thank you for letting me be a part of your day! I had a fabulous time and I wish you all the best in your marriage.
