When I was on my way to meet Rachel and Garrick for the first time, I had had a terrible afternoon at work. However, all of that evaporated the second I ran into Rachel. I know they said it about 800 times during toasts at the reception, but this girl just exudes happiness and lights up the room. You can not be around her and not smile. I couldn’t be more excited about this couple. What a great way to kick off the wedding season!
Their wedding was centered around a theme of artichokes, including everything from the bouquet to the center pieces.
Isn’t she the cutest bride ever?
Rachel and Garrick were supposed to be married at Cherry Hill in Central Park. However, due to all the horse and pedi cab traffic, decided to move things around, oh, 15 minutes before things got started. Now that’s a laid back couple! We decided on a grassy hill just around the corner, and things worked out wonderfully.
I love this photo of Rachel and her dad.
They had all of the guests bless their rings.
After the wedding, because they’re awesome, everyone took the subway to the reception at 320 Studios.
The reception at 320 Studios in midtown was lovely. Beautiful open space with lots of windows, including a terrace to enjoy the spring evening!
I love the red shoe change for the reception!
Rachel and Garrick, thank you for letting me be a part of your day! I had a fabulous time and I wish you all the best in your marriage.
