Kirsten & Kim: Sneak Peek! | Grand Central Station | NYC Elopement Photographer
I had a wonderful afternoon at Grand Central with Kirsten and Kim, who came up from Austin, Texas to get married in NYC. They were supposed to be married in Central Park, but due to the rain, we moved things indoors and it worked out beautifully! We found ourselves a lovely balcony overlooking the main concourse and were set to go.
More to come, congratulations to you both!
Corinne & Esteban | NYC City Hall Wedding Photographer | NY Public Library
Corinne is from Switzerland, Esteban is Costa Rican. They met at grad school in Belgium and now call NYC home. This wedding was a truly global affair! They were married on one of the rainiest Friday’s I’ve seen in a long time, so we nixed our plans for Brooklyn skylines and met up at Grand Central instead for some indoor photos.
When the rain slowed down a bit, I suggested we pop over to the NY Public Library as well to see if we could at least get something with more natural light protected by the overhang. Success!
These guys were so incredibly stylish! Aren’t their outfits the best?
If you’re visiting the city and haven’t been to the public library by Bryant Park yet, I highly suggest stopping by. The inside is simply gorgeous.
From there we hopped in a cab and headed to down to City Hall for their ceremony!
They were surrounded by friends and family from all over!
Esteban’s reaction to the clerk asking if anyone knew of a reason they shouldn’t be married.
Felicidades Corinne and Esteban! You guys are fantastic!
Corinne & Esteban: Sneak Peek! | City Hall Wedding Photographer | Grand Central | NY Public Library
Corinne and Esteban were married on Friday with the pouring rain, but we made the best of it! These guys were so much fun and we had a ball wandering through Grand Central and the NY Public Library before heading down to City Hall. More to come!
Stefanie & Hernan | New York City Wedding Photographer | Queens | Riverview Restaurant
Stefanie and Hernan had a beautiful wedding this summer in Queens. They’re both huge giants fans, so Stef’s garter was perfect!
I started the day with Stef at her mom’s house while the girls got ready. Isn’t her hair gorgeous?
After the ceremony we were off on a whirlwind tour of photos in Manhattan! Grand Central, New York Public Library, and Central Park!
A great looking bridal party!
Love this shot!
One of Stef’s only photo requests, pink socks and shoes!
Their reception was right on the water at Riverview Restaurant, so we also got to take photos at Gantry Plaza.
I also busted out a photobooth set up for this wedding! Such a good time! Stef and Hernan brought along some super fun props and the guests brought the party!
(If you’re interested in a photobooth for your reception in NYC, let m know!)
Congratulations!
Christina & Amanda | New York City Elopement Photographer | Central Park | NYC
Right around the time I got an email from Christina asking about photographing her and Amanda’s elopement I was about as swamped as possible. I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to take on any more events in late June/July. And then I got the most enthusiastic, energetic email from the “brides squared.”
That was it. I knew I had to take on one more. And I’m SO glad I did.
You guys, these two ladies? They’re awesome. I had such a fabulous time with both of them! I met them at their hotel early Monday morning, and then it was off on an NYC photo adventure. We headed out to Central Park for the ceremony with the lovely Judie Guild, and then hopped on the subway all over town. Grand Central, Times Square, the Highline. Topping everything off with margaritas in the meatpacking district. I couldn’t have asked for more and am so proud of how their images turned out!
The rockin’ kicks.
They found a beautiful little spot under the Gapstow Bridge for the ceremony.

This is love. This right here.

Off to Grand Central!
A stop in Times Square for some more lovely photos!
Happiness.
Completely smitten with this image.
My favorite.
To the wives squared: congratulations!!
I wish you many years of fantastic adventures together! Thank you so much for having me!!
