What a fun morning for some beautiful Central Park summer engagement photos! If you’re thinking this happy couple looks familiar, you’re right! Katie and Molly had an amazing Catskills Elopement last fall at the incredible Roxbury Motel. However, they’re getting extra married in Long Island this weekend, so we made time this summer to take some engagement photos in Central Park!
I met up with Katie and Molly bright and early (always one of my favorite times for photos!) near turtle pond. While Bethesda Terrace is certainly a hugely popular spot, and for good reason, I LOVE when couples choose slightly different spots for photos. The early morning was quiet and even a bit foggy before the heat set in, and it was perfect for some engagement shots. I love Belvedere Castle as a backdrop and the lawn was totally empty! Perfect!
Seriously, how cute are these two?! All giggles all the time and I love it.
After skimming around the pond and the great lawn, we headed in Shakespeare Garden, another gorgeous spot for engagement photos in Central Park year round, but especially in late summer when everything is in bloom! Flowers, flowers and more flowers, it was beautiful! The happy, snuggly couple didn’t hurt either. 😉
After we had our fill of flowers, we headed deeper into the Ramble. I rarely get to explore this area with couples, but it’s SO fun for photos! It’s quiet, there’s an amazing waterfall you can hike up, and really, the light through the trees can be just wonderful.
Katie and Molly, I’m so looking forward to celebrating with you again in Long Island! Thanks so much for having me along on your wedding journey, you two are the best!
