What a wonderful wedding! This was my very first big wedding back since the pandemic began, and what a great way to get back in the swing of things. Marissa and Owen came to me via their friends Molly and Katie (who had the most adorable elopement in the Catskills) and I’m so glad! I’ve photographed at The Bates House once before, and I really like this venue. It has wonderful grounds for portraits and a great space for lawn games, which Marissa and Owen utilized in the best way!
With the effects of Covid still lingering, Marissa and Owen made sure to take full advantage of all the outdoor space at the Bates House. The day was perfect for it too! They were married on the lawn in a ceremony by their church pastor. We followed with lots of fun portraits, and Marissa and Owen exchanged heartfelt letters to each other. After photos, we headed in for a first dance, dinner and then out on the lawn for lots of yard games and Jenga on the patio. A fun time was had by all!
Congrats you two! Thank you so much for having me!
I love a simple bouquet and these natural details were beautiful.
How fun are these cake toppers?! Marissa got her and Owen made made into miniatures and then added some of their favorite magic details. So cool!
