This Central Park elopement with cherry blossoms was such a magical morning! I love when I get to work in my own neighborhood and it turns out Tim and Cliff live just a few blocks from me on the Upper East Side. We made great use of the grand townhomes and the steps of the Met for lots of fun elopement photos. These two grooms looked so handsome in their tuxes and it was the perfect vibe for Upper East Side streets.

We took full advantage of the early morning hour to get the Met steps all to ourselves!

It was peek cheery blossom season with Tim and Cliff eloped and we couldn’t have asked for a more brilliant day to enjoy all the pink blooms. It was gorgeous. Tim and Cliff even got cherry blossom boutonnières!

Early morning in Central Park is my favorite, and Cliff said it always makes him think of getting into Disney land before the gates open and I couldn’t agree more. Even if you’re not a morning person, photos in the park around sunrise is always worth it!

We hit up all their favorite spots in the park and then made our way to Bethesda Terrace.

A trend I’ve been noticing recently for couples who are actually getting married at City Hall is to exchange personal vows earlier in the day at a place that is special to them. City Hall doesn’t allow vows of any sort other then stating I do, so if you want to make the day more personal making time for moments like these is a great idea! Tim and Cliff said their personal vows in Central Park under the archways in Bethesda Terrace. This certainly would not be possible due to crowds at any other time of day, but early on a weekday morning, it was beautiful.

Personal vows are always so sweet, and T & C definitely had me swiping at tears behind my camera.

After vows, we headed out of the park and grabbed a few more cherry blossom shots on our way. How could we not? The pink cotton candy views were impossible to resist!

From Central Park we headed down to City Hall to make things official.

Yes, the cheesy Valentines decor is still going strong!

They did it!

After becoming officially husbands, we cracked open the confetti wands and made for the exit! This door is the happiest place in all of Manhattan and I am so here for it! What an incredible morning!
