What a fun elopement! Beth and Chris were married with on of this year’s most popular dates, 4.3.21. I met up with them in Queens for their Hunters Point South Park elopement. While the neighboring Gantry Plaza State Park is a hugely popular spot for photos, people often forget that there is a whole other section of park just to the south that’s also fantastic, Hunters Point South Park. This area has awesome views, and some great little spots that are perfect for ceremonies and portraits.
Beth and Chris opted for a spot called the Luminescence, a cool little circular pier with a nice lawn and amazing views of the midtown skyline. They were married by one of Chris’s hometown friends and Beth had one of her best friends serve as a witness. Beth wore the cutest floral romper and it was a gorgeous day! I loved photographing them exchange vows with the iconic Empire State Building and Chrysler Building in the background. How cool! Afterwards we wandering through Hunters Point South Park and then up through Gantry before heading to their favorite local brewery, Rockaway Brewing Company. Such a wonderful day in Queens and these two were so laid back and chill it was the best! Congrats Beth and Chris! I wish you all the best!
