This tiny wedding was full to the brim with happiness! I had SO much fun working with Allison and Sam. Allison is a personal chef who recently moved to Brooklyn from the Pacific Northwest. She and Sam opted to get married in Brooklyn Bridge Park on a beautiful summer Sunday afternoon. Rather then join the crowds down at Pier 1, they made the awesome decision to head a bit further south and utilize the end of Pier 3. I loved this choice! The view is slightly different, but just as nice and even on a weekend summer day they had it essentially to themselves, no battling the crowds! I think maybe one other person wandered by? Pier 3 also has some nice green space and is great for something a little off the beaten path but still within walking distance to all the action.
They had their ceremony with Judie Guild overlooking Manhattan. After getting hitched, we took a few photos on our wander back to their hotel, One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. The hotel kindly let us use their epic rooftop for some parting shots before I left these guys for their celebratory evening. According to Allison, how a chef celebrates a night off? Pizza in bed! 🙂
Huge congrats Allison and Sam! It was so wonderful to meet you both!
