Katherine and Shai met while they were both working on a cruise ship. They’ve traveled the world over together, so it makes sense that they went on another adventure up to NYC to get married! While I didn’t photograph their ceremony, we met up over the weekend for some elopement photos at Coney Island and Brooklyn Bridge Park!
First up were sunset portraits photos along the iconic Coney Island boardwalk. I absolutely LOVE shooting at Coney! It’s so full of color and you get a beach, double photographer win. While I normally taking couples here to ride the rides and play a few carnival games, unfortunately on this particular day things were closed due to poor weather. However, Katherine and Shai didn’t let this ruin their fun and these guys were amazing to photograph. We danced on the boardwalk, played in the sand, and shared some cotton candy even if the temperatures weren’t ideal for the beach.
