Kathleen and Petro were my first big wedding of 2016, and what a great way to start the year! I love shooting in the Metropolitan Building! This venue is by far one of my favorite in the city and so along with Kathleen and Petro being such laid back awesome people, it’s no wonder this wedding was wonderful.
I started off shooting Kathleen and her girls getting ready along with a few of the fun details. They passed out tubes of hot chocolate to their guests, a perfect giveaway for a chilly winter wedding! After everyone was all spiffed up, I grabbed her and Petro for some fun portraits on the third floor. This floor is basically a photography creative dream, all kinds of random spaces thrown together with beautiful natural light. A room of chairs? A buddha head? A hallway filled with vintage mirrors? Check and check. They had a lovely ceremony and then everyone hit the dance floor to end a fantastic night!
