Amy & Jenn | Bear Mountain Inn | Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer
You may remember Amy and Jenn from their super fun Philly engagement session earlier this summer. The pair headed up to the Bear Mountain Inn in the Hudson Valley for their wedding this past September and had an absolutely beautiful day! I loved everything about working with both Amy and Jenn, these are two of the sweetest, most fun girls you’ll have the chance to meet. From a gorgeous green scenery , a fabulous wedding party, heartfelt vows, to a crazy dance party, this was one awesome day!
A huge thanks also goes out to my second shooter, Lindsay for being all around fantastic!
We started the day with Jenn and Amy at their hotel for a few getting ready shots.

You know what’s awesome? Two brides happy to hike in the woods in their wedding dresses for beautiful photos.

Their ceremony was held on the back deck of the Inn. I loved the sign they displayed before the aisle.

On to the reception, these girls threw one heck of a party! I haven’t seen that much awesome dancing in a long time! 
Jenn also gave a surprise guitar performance! Please note her amazing rainbow shoes as well.

Jennifer & David: Sneak Peek! | New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Kingsland Park
I have been loving this gorgeous fall weather we’ve been having, and Jennifer and David got to take full advantage of another beautiful sunny day! These guys were married this weekend in a small ceremony at Kingsland Park in New Jersey. More to come!

Kelly & Ian | Vermont Wedding Photographer | West Monitor Barn
Kelly and Ian were my last wedding of the season in Vermont, a few weeks before I moved back to NYC. (Side note: Vermont couples, I’m still willing and happy to head back north! ) I could not have asked for a better send off. Kelly and Ian were wonderful: super fun and laid back, and happy to tromp all over the farm to make loads of gorgeous photos!
These two came up to the mountains from North Carolina and had a beautiful wedding at one of my new favorite venues, the West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT. As giving back to the community has always been a part of my business, working with venues that promote the same ideals is always a treat.
From their website: “All proceeds from renting the West Monitor Barn go towards funding Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) programs, which employ over 300 young people to work on high-priority conservation and education projects across the state of Vermont each year.” How great is that?

We started off with a first look, one of my favorite ways to kick off photo taking. Then we were off to wander the farm on this lovely sunny day!
Big red barns and lovely couples = a happy photographer.
As I’m writing this post having already moved back to the city, seeing these lovely mountain views again makes me already ancy to get back in the fresh air!
Why yes, we did play in the tomato plants.
Then it was time for the ceremony, on the back lawn with the mountains as a back drop. Kelly and Ian wrote their own vows and were married by their brothers, you can’t ask for more then that. Beautiful.
So happy!
After the ceremony, it was time for lawn games for all before the reception in the barn.
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, they had Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cake! Yep, it was the BEST!
Right at sunset, Kelly and Ian let me steal them for a few more quick photos, some of my favorite images of the night. Golden hour with a moon rise? Yes, please.

Katie & Kevin | Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer | Clermont State Historic Site
Katie and Kevin were married this past June up in the Hudson Valley. Even though I love shooting in the city, I adore the chance to get up to this part of the state as it’s amazingly beautiful! Though I was a little worried it was going to rain, we ended up with a gorgeous day, perfect for loads of wonderful photos!
Their wedding also coincided with the cicada invasion. These little guys were all over the place and made quite the racket!
I met Katie and Kevin at their inn down the road for portraits before we headed to the ceremony. They made my job easy!

Railroad tracks? I’m always game.
It had rained the day before, so lots of puddles = great reflections.
After portraits, we headed over the official wedding venue, the Clermont State Historic Site. This park was beautiful! Stunning views of the river valley and perfect for a wedding.
They each wrote their own vows, and Katie even memorized hers. Definitely impressed.
After the ceremony, guests walked through the grounds to the reception tent. They even had lawn games waiting, so fun!

Sarah & Brianna | Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer | Circa 1799 Barn
Oh you guys. This wedding. One of my most favorite of the year. This was one of those weddings were I just stood there and was like, “You know what? My job can be pretty fantastic.” Sarah and Brianna are two amazing women who had an equally amazing wedding this fall in the teeny town of Acramdale, NY at the Circa 1799 Barn. The skies were threatening rain all day, but things held out until right before the reception, so everything worked out great!

I LOVE country weddings, and the scenery around this place was beautiful.
You two together just make me smile.
Yep. Rolling mountain countryside, you are wonderful.
Now, I will never suggest a jumpy photo, as I know some people are anti the cheesy stuff. However, if someone suggests it to ME, then I’m more then happy to oblige! And holy moly, these guys rocked it! This photo makes me laugh every time I look at it.
After portraits, Brianna and Sarah were married in a beautiful ceremony under a huge tree on the lawn.
They danced out to Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind. Awesomesauce.
I loved their photo table numbers!

After a delicious dinner, it was time for a barn dance!
My favorite part though might have been the honeymoon surprise. Sarah and Brianna’s friends all chipped in to get them a surprise trip to Maine! The look on their faces was priceless!

Sarah and Mark | New Jersey Wedding Photography
Sarah and Mark came to me via Offbeat Bride, one of my most favorite places to get referrals! They were married last weekend at the beautiful Perona Farms in New Jersey. I love shooting in the city, but I really love getting the chance to get out to different settings, and the grounds of this venue were gorgeous!
For a farm wedding, most people would envision simple flats… not Sarah. This girl had perhaps the most amazing wedding shoes ever!

Sarah and Mark wrote their own vows, but instead of reciting them in front of everyone, they had their own private moment to share them before the ceremony.
Love the different colored dresses for the bridesmaids!
These guys were all about having a fun on their wedding day.
They were married in the apple orchard on the grounds, no blossoms quite yet, but still lovely.
