Restaurants are such a great place to celebrate weddings! This Bacchus Bistro wedding in Brooklyn was a perfect example of that. You’ve got guaranteed great food, and often a warm, intimate space with much more character then some hotel ballroom. I especially love when couples pick a local neighborhood restaurant they love for their wedding. It’s a place special to them, where maybe they’e shared a meal and it’s already a part of their community. This is exactly what Rosie and Jeremy did with Bacchus Brooklyn.
The Bacchus Bistro and Wine Bar was perfect for their Brooklyn wedding. It combined their love of good food, travel and the French culture that Jeremy’s family background had. Bacchus Bistro was also very close to their Brooklyn home which was great. Bacchus Wine Bar in Brooklyn is also great spot for a wedding as they beautiful back garden that makes for a wonderful ceremony location and then can double as a reception space as well!

I started the day for Rosie and Jeremy’s Brooklyn wedding with Rosie and her girls at the Ace Hotel in downtown Brooklyn. I hadn’t been in this hotel before, but it was perfect for getting ready. Close to the waterfront and also big windows for lots of great light!

I absolutely love a long veil, and Rosie looked so stunning in her dress!

After getting ready at the Ace Hotel in Brooklyn, we headed out to Brooklyn Bridge Park for a first look and portraits on the waterfront. The day had been threatening rain, but the drops held off for us and we had a wonderful time.

The bonus of the weather not being the sunniest is that the park was much less crowded then normal on a Saturday! Win for us! Also, aren’t these two the cutest? Note to groom’s and those wearing suits, a well fitting tux is always going to look stellar!

Love a long veil in the wind!

I saw this patch of flowers and instantly needed them in a photo!

After photos we made our way back to Bacchus Brooklyn for the ceremony. The restaurant has a wonderful back garden for weddings and all the hanging lanterns were so pretty!

Rosie and Jeremy incorporated their love of travel with these beautiful water color table numbers of special places they’ve been.

On to the first dance and a party!

Huge congrats to Rosie and Jeremy! Thanks for having me at your Brooklyn wedding! It was a blast hanging out with you both!
