It’s true that a lot of my work revolves around couples, however, I absolutely love my work as an NYC family photographer as well. This in home Brooklyn newborn photography session was such a delight. My kids are getting big now, so getting to hang out with a tiny snuggly baby for a morning was so sweet. This newborn photography session in Brooklyn was made extra fun by the fact that Elise and I used to work together many years ago when I was just starting out and still at my desk job. It was great to see her again and meet her new family, including little baby A!
If you’re considering taking photos with your newborn, an in home session is such a great option! I love taking photos for families in home in NYC, especially with new babies, since as a new parent, you’ve got so much other stuff to worry about, being in a space that you’re comfortable with means you can relax and don’t have to worry about packing supplies, strollers, etc. You can lounge in bed or on a couch, change a diaper or nurse as needed, no worries. Also, I always think there’s something special about capturing the space you brought your baby home to! While there are many spots around town to do your Brooklyn family photos, an in home session is always great and low stress.
