People often ask me if weddings are my main gig, or if i photograph any other types of sessions. The answer is yes! Of course I do other kinds of photography as well. While weddings and elopements are my bread and butter, I love having the chance to photograph other sorts of sessions as well. Did you know I offer headshots? In addition, as a parent myself, I love doing family photography in NYC. I’m always happy to get your little ones (and/or all those growing bellies) in front of my lens. Whether that’s as a returning client or couples who now have kiddos, a family visiting from elsewhere or just in the neighborhood looking for some family shots, don’t be shy! I know children have short attention spans, and because of that, I know a quick and easy session is often best. I’m happy to offer Upper East Side family photographer mini sessions for just this reason! If you’re able to come to the neighborhood, this is a great session for you. Family mini sessions have two options, the east side of Central Park and Carl Schurz Park. I have a few select spots I offer for Central Park mini sessions and then Carl Schurz Park is a neighborhood gem that’s the perfect size for a mini session with a variety of backdrops to cover in a small distance.
Mini sessions are 30 minutes and length and offer just the right amount of time to hang out, get a few smiles and grab some great shots of those little ones before they grow even bigger in a few days! Seriously, they change SO quick!

This Upper East Side family photo session was with some previous clients of mine. Shabnam and Scott eloped a few years back in Brooklyn Bridge Park and so when I heard from Shabnam that she wanted to do a family session with a new little one, I was thrilled! I love seeing past clients! They opted for a mini session in Carl Schurz Park and it was great. Carl Schurz is really nice for families with some great green spaces, some neighborhood backdrops and anything else you could need in a small radius, so not nearly as much walking as bigger Central Park. It’s also usually fairly quiet in the mornings.
