I’m getting caught up on sharing some of my big weddings from this summer and this Industry City wedding at Five Two A in Brooklyn was a big favorite. I’d never been out to the Industry City complex before this wedding though I’d heard lots about it. It turns out this whole development is pretty cool and I loved photographing this super colorful wedding for Erica and Elliot, the most caring, sweet couple you could imagine. Five Two A is one of the venues within Industry City and it was really cool for a couple who wanted to add their own personal touches. It was a blank slate white space, and Erica and Elliot did an amazing job with pops of color in their plant vases, programs, and backdrops.
I started the day meeting up with the couple for their look on the balcony of the venue, and it was such a cute moment. From there we headed out to explore for portraits. One of the reasons Erica and Elliot chose this venue was for the colorful mural backdrops, and it was SO great for photos! I love color always and forever, there were lots of options as we roamed around. Also, special shout out to Erica’s bright red shoes, aren’t they awesome with her cute tea length dress?
Their one request was a photo with this mural. 🙂
After portraits we headed inside for the ceremony. It was so hot this day, so the air conditioned space inside was a welcome respite. Their ceremony was officiated by Erica’s brother, and he did a wonderful job.
So joyous!
After the ceremony and outdoor cocktails, they tore up the dance floor! What a fun night! Congratulations to you both!
