Katherine and Sean had the perfect late summer wedding day. It had been threatening rain all week, but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky when their wedding day came.
Katherine and Sean are Queens, NY natives who are high school sweet hearts. They had a Coffeed LIC Landing wedding right on the riverfront. LIC Landing is such an awesome spot for a wedding. It’s covered in case of light rain, but open to fresh air and has an incredible view of the midtown skyline. You can’t beat it!
Katherine’s dad is a retired NYC fire fighter. As she was walking down the aisle, all the fireboats gathered in front of the docks and started a huge water fountain display, it was pretty cool to see! They exchanged personal vows with tears and laughter and then recessed down the aisle to huge cheers from family and friends. As the venue is right next to an NYC Ferry dock, they even had a whole ferry of passengers cheering them on!
After portraits along the boardwalk I sent them to a celebratory lunch. We weren’t done yet however! I met up with Katherine and Sean for their reception, a sunset river cruise reception on the Hudson. It was beautiful to see the sunset behind the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge and then they partied the night away on the water with all their guests. It was quite the dance party, these guys have moves!
Huge congrats Katherine and Sean! Thanks so much for having me!
