I know it’s February now, but it was a crazy holiday season around here and I’m still getting caught up on blogging all the photo goodness. This holiday elopement in New York was too joyful not to share and K & B are actually getting married with their family this month! Their holiday elopement in Central Park was top secret!
I met up with them just after sunrise at the Rockefeller Christmas tree. While I generally advise against taking portraits at Rockefeller because it’s a complete madhouse, at dawn, we had the plaza to ourselves! Those twinkly lights can’t be beat for holiday spirit and the happiness of this couple was bubbling over. They were so much fun to take photos of! After making the rounds of Rockefeller Center, we jumped on the subway to Central Park. It was a crisp but not too cold morning, and Kimberly looked stunning in her emerald green gown walking through the park.
They were married with the city as their backdrop atop Cat Rock in the south section of the park by Judie Guild. After tying the knot, I sent them off to a celebratory breakfast and a day of fun in Manhattan!
Congratulations Kimberly and Billy! It was a joy to meet you both!
