As promised yesterday, part two of Katherine and Shai’s romantic elopement weekend in NYC!
We had originally planned to shoot at sunrise in Brooklyn Bridge Park after our session in Coney Island, but the weather was being uncooperative. So we changed plans and instead had a great evening for taking some Brooklyn Bridge Park sunset elopement photos.While I LOVE sunrise, Brooklyn Bridge Park is ideal for sunset as the sun falls right behind the skyline at dusk and it makes for some incredible golden hour shots.
Katherine and Shai met up with me at Jane’s Carousel and we worked our way through the park. Fun random aside: I always love shooting in the carousel as I took my own wedding photos in a carousel just like this one almost 8 years ago. 🙂 After our session of photo taking, I put them in a cab and they jetted off to the airport for their evening flight back to Miami. What a fantastic elopement weekend in New York!
