Sarah is a good friend of my college roomate Emily, and I was so glad to have the chance to travel to Pennsylvania for her and Alex’s wedding! They were married on the Swarthmore College campus where Alex is currently working, and my goodness it was beautiful! Fall leaves and lovely old stone buildings, I was a happy camper. 🙂
Sarah and Alex were also my first self officiated wedding. Yep, no officiant in sight, these two married themselves in a heartfelt ceremony that was perfectly them. I had no idea this was even a possiblity, but Pennsylvania is one of a handful of states that has the option.
After the ceremony, I joined in the merriment but managed to grab a few photos of their awesome favors, temporary tattoos! So much fun!
