When Cait originally contacted me to see if I’d be interested in doing an ice skating engagement session, I was super excited! Not only did it sound really fun, but I love when couples come up with an activity they enjoy for their session. Especially if you’re not used to having a camera follow you around, having something to do makes things lots easier and more fun!
It took a little investigative work to find a good rink for photos, but we ended up at this nice outdoor spot in Edison, New Jersey, and even got a wonderfully sunny day too!
Ian used to play hockey, so they thought it’d be fun if they each wore one of his jerseys.
After skating for a bit, we ended the shoot with a walk around the park enjoying the spring-like February day.
Seriously, you kids are so CUTE! Love this.
