As an elopement photographer in NYC, I love tiny weddings. Small weddings in NYC are often restaurant weddings as they make a great venue for elopements with backrooms or areas that can act as a ceremony space and then the celebration meal is already built in! I’ve photographed tiny weddings at many different restaurant venues in the city, and this might be a new favorite location for small weddings in NYC!
Ariel and Deepa decided to have their small wedding at Ci Siamo, a beautiful restaurant with a female chef (yeah!) way over on the west side that conveniently connects to the newest sections of the Highline. This was fabulous in that we were set for photos and double bonus, they have a outdoor space with a direct view of the Empire State Building! I hadn’t been on this part of the Highline yet, but it was really nice and great for a photo stroll with two super fun brides.
I loved both of their dresses! Don’t be afraid of color y’all! The aqua in Ariel’s dress was perfect.

The Empire State Building is one of the couple’s favorite buildings in NYC, so finding this venue with a view of the ESB in the background sealed the deal!

The small wedding ceremony was outside on the deck and conducted by two of the brides’ best friends. They were able to share such sweet about both women and it was a beautiful ceremony.
They both shared such tender, heartfelt vows. I love with couples write person vows!

After the ceremony, everyone got to sit down to dinner and enjoy some wonderful toasts by family and friends. I love the intimacy of small weddings and all your closest people getting to celebrate you together! Congrats to Ariel and Deepa!
