Oh my goodness did I love these two! If there’s one thing that makes my photo heart happy, it’s a wedding day filled with joy. Katie and Jean had it in spades. If it’s not evident by the photos, they were so thrilled to get married and were just seriously the absolute cutest pair. Can we also talk about how handsome Jean looks in that velvet jacket? These two were such fun to photograph, I loved this whole afternoon.
Wandering a neighborhood is also fun for photos, and the East Village is a great spot for funky backdrops. Katie and Jean and I met up at Veselka where they had one of their first dates and then made or way down to City Hall from there.

After a good walk through the East Village, we headed to the Clerk’s Office. It was busy this afternoon, and randomly took forever, but they ended up married and that’s all that matters!
While it’s true you can still only have witness inside, I’m happy to coordinate with guests who can wait for you outside and cheer you on! Confetti poppers for the win!
