What a beautiful Brooklyn Micro Wedding! I love intimate weddings, and this wedding of two gorgeous brides was no exception. Brianna and Melissa had a perfect summer day for their micro wedding and they picked such a unique Brooklyn wedding venue for their ceremony and reception.
I used to live in Cobble Hill and absolutely love photographing around the neighborhood, and this spot, Wanderlustre, was such a great venue for an intimate wedding. It’s a new to me spot, and from the street you’d never know it was a wedding venue, it looks like just a cute little shop. However, you can rent out their back garden, and it makes a fantastic space for a ceremony and cocktails, exactly what Brianna and Melissa had in mind.
I met up with these two brides for their first look at Brooklyn Bridge Park. I always love a good first look, and Brianna and Melissa had amazing expressions when they saw each other the first time! From there, we wandered the boardwalk and then went up Washington Street and into Dumbo for some classic street shots and a bit of colorful walls as well.
These two were so much fun to photograph and had the best smiles!
I’ve been loving heading a bit further up this block for photos lately and avoiding the crowds. Great shots and less people, win win!
After portraits, we hopped in a cab to Wanderlustre for the ceremony.
Briana and Melissa both had their dad’s walk them up to the front and it was a such a sweet moment for each of them.
Isn’t this such a pretty setting? I love a garden wedding, and this was a such a great hidden spot for a ceremony with a modest guest count.
They wrote each other vows and they got the best reactions.
They did it!
Huge congrats to Briana and Melissa! Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your micro wedding in Brooklyn! It was so much fun and I loved this unique wedding venue! Best wishes to you both!
