The day Lindsey and Justin had their Central Park elopement in the Ramble was probably one of the best days ever. I was with my kids at the playground that morning when all of a sudden the horns started honking and pots and pans started banging with literal shouts of joy ringing out across the city. Walking to Central Park that afternoon I made my way through parades of people singing in the streets. So it was no surprise when I got to the park and heard bottles of Champagne constantly popping I knew it was going to be a good day. You see Lindsey and Justin managed to get married the same day Biden was declared the official winner of the election. So it was probably the most celebratory I have seen the city in a LONG LONG time. It was awesome!
I met up with them at the Bow Bridge for a first look. I love expressions during a first look and Justin and Lindsey were no different, they were both so excited to see each other. After a few portraits along the bridge with some great fall colors we headed out to their ceremony spot. I’ve done one other ceremony at this location in the Ramble, it’s such a nice tucked away spot with a great view of the San Remo tower buildings. They exchanged vows right along the water and then we strolled through the park and out to Bethesda Terrace for photos. It was a busy day in Central Park, but it made things all the more festive.
Congratulations Lindsay and Justin! I wish you both all the best!
