Kim contacted me a few weeks before she and Yishaya were planning to have their wedding. They weren’t sure of what their plans were going to be, but knew they were going to have a Jewish Orthodox wedding, ideally in Central Park. As with everything this year, Covid had made plans potentially tricky, and they were determined to get married no matter what.
A major storm may have passed through the night before, but it turned out to be a beautiful summer morning for these two to wed. They opted to have their ceremony in front of the Hans Christian Anderson statue by the Conservatory Water (also known as the boat pond). It was a wonderful little spot for a ceremony, one I’d never actually photographed a wedding at, and it was perfect for their gathering.
Before the official ceremony, we did a quick wander for photos along the water and briefly up into the Upper East Side by the Frick Collection. Kim looked SO chic and classy in her hat and white suit with pearls. After photos they met with their Rabbi and friends to sign the Ketubah and have their ceremony. Then they broke the glass and were off to celebrate!
Mazol Tov to you both! I wish you many years of happiness!
