What a beautiful summer morning! Kevin and Anisha were the first couple I’ve photographed since the COVID-19 lockdown began to relax a bit. Their intimate Central Park wedding at Wagner Cove was the perfect way to get back into things! (Don’t worry, for all current sessions I wear a mask 100% of the time and am sure to follow all social distancing guidelines as much as possible.)
Kevin and Anisha were originally planning a big wedding in Long Island, however after the pandemic hit, they’ve pushed their plans back and decided on a tiny elopement in the meantime. I met up with them, their witness and the awesome officiant Christopher Shelley for their ceremony at Wagner Cove.
After making things official, we headed out into the park to enjoy the sunshine and an unusually empty park for a Sunday afternoon. We wandered over Bow Bridge, under the archways at Bethesda Terrace, and finished up with a perfect blue skyline view at cat rock. I happened to notice that Kevin was wearing some excellent ice cream socks as well, so made sure to get a fun shot of those too! Hurray for fun socks. 🙂
Congratulations Kevin and Anisha! Thanks so much for inviting me along and best wishes to you both!
