My first wedding back in Minnesota in awhile and it was so much fun to be shooting back in my home state! This wedding was wonderful to be a part of, Kathleen and Erik are so kind and they were surrounded by an excellent crew of family and friends. They had their event at the 413 on Wacouta Event Center, a great little space in St Paul. The ceremony and reception were all in one venue and we had easy access to this great area of St Paul for wedding photos, so it worked out beautifully. There are so many great little alleys and streets in Lower Town in St Paul for photos along with the grand columns of Union Depot, and Mears Park, a spot where I took some of my own wedding photos many years ago!
They were married in a beautiful ceremony by Kathleen’s brother in law. During the ceremony he played snippets of recordings he had made of each of them talking about the other and their relationship which was adorable. After the ceremony I managed to snag them for a few minutes at sunset on the rooftop of 413 on Wacouta, and then they danced the night away.
Huge congrats to Erik and Kathleen! Thank you so much for having me as a part of your wedding! I had a wonderful time celebrating with you both!
