I had such a great morning with Stephanie and Phillip! They were so laid back, fun and were all smiles the whole time! These two came over from England to elope at City Hall in NYC. While it’s true that Fridays tend to be the busiest days for an elopement at City Hall, this morning was surprisingly empty. I always talk about how unpredictable the Manhattan Marriage Bureau office is, and today was a prime example. I’ll take it though, and it was so nice to get in and out and then on to some fun photos!
We took a spin around the block of City Hall and then hopped in a yellow cab over the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was a beautiful crisp winter day, and it was so nice to finally see some blue sky again. Stephanie looked amazing in her pink wedding dress and Phillip was so dapper in his blue suit! I took them on a tour of the waterfront and up the famous Washington Street. We even met a crowd of ladies who were thrilled to see a wedding couple and offered to toss the confetti! We finished up with some of Dumbo’s colorful street art, including a new mural I’d been hoping to shoot for a couple months now. All in all a wonderful time!
Thanks so much Stephanie and Phillip! Congratulations to you both!
