Such a wonderful little elopement this morning! More brides in fun colors please, I love this wedding outfit! Janelle and Andrew came from Scotland to get hitched in Central Park. These two were high school sweethearts and now have a 2 year old daughter back home. When I asked them why they decided to elope in New York, I loved Andrew’s answer: “NYC is one of the busiest cities on Earth, however it can deliver moments of tranquility, calm and beauty. We feel that our elopement to NYC, Central Park reflects life rather well.” I totally agree.
They opted for Wagner Cove which as I’ve mentioned previously, is a great spot for a tiny wedding. Their ceremony was conducted by Emma Keller who did a great job. I love that they included a hand fasting! Afterwards we had a quick spin of the park and even had time for a little slow dance under the arches of Bethesda Terrace. I sent them off to lunch and a nap after we enjoyed the skyline view from Cat Rock.
Congratulations Janelle and Andrew! I wish you all the best!
