My second wedding of last weekend was just as awesome as the first. The summer camp wedding of Jonathan and Hannah in rural Connecticut was one of the most energy filled celebrations I’ve seen. This is the third wedding I’ve photographed at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center and I love this venue more then ever. It’s such a special place and the weddings here are amazing.
The vibe of a summer camp wedding is always fun and Jonathan and Hannah’s was no different. My second shooter and I are started the morning bright and early with Jonathan and Hannah getting ready and then joined up with their families for a first look. Afterwards we headed out all over the camp for some beautiful portraits. These two are such an incredible couple and they made my job easy.
Once we got through photos it was time for the tisch, which being the egalitarian folks they are, both Hannah and Jonathan gave. I just have to stop for a second here to acknowledge the energy of this community Jonathan and Hannah have surrounded themselves with. It was through the roof! Guys, this was an ENTHUSIASTIC crowd to the max. It was so much fun for photos and the joy in the room was overflowing. As to be expected, after tying the knot on the lake, this crowd brought down the house with a hora and schtick to end them all.
Jonathan and Hannah, thank you for having such an awesome wedding! It was so much fun to be a part of and document. Congratulations and best wishes to you both!!
