This session was the best! Sarah’s original email to me described two composers, four pianos, one cat; eloping at home. I haven’t gotten the chance to shoot many at home sessions, but I have to say, they’re some of my favorite. There’s no better to way to capture this time in your life, in the space you’re in every day, where you’re the most comfortable.
On Sunday afternoon I went out to Queens to photograph them along with their furry kitten. There was snuggling on the couch, singing at the piano and toasting in the kitchen. At home sessions make me especially sentimental, thinking about how special it will be to look at photos of you, together in your current home, 30 years from now.
It was so much fun hanging out with Sarah and Ben and their kitty and getting to hear them play music together. More photos on the way soon! Congratulations to you both!
