Five years ago to the day, Alex and I sat in our living room and popped champagne as we watched the live senate feed from Albany pass marriage equality. Last summer I was back in Minnesota shooting Jenny and Claudia’s wedding the day after marriage equality passed nationwide. We’ve come so far, but there’s still a long way to go.
It’s pride week in New York right now, and I wanted to give a shoutout to all the amazing LGBTQ couples who I’ve had the pleasure of documenting in years past. Thank you for your trust and for sharing your incredible days filled with joy and love with me. It has been such an honor.
