I had such a great time on this shoot! Cinara and Danilo made the trip to NYC from Brazil. Cinara is a photographer back home, and knew she wanted to get some fun, elopement-esque photos of them on their trip. When I emailed them about the kind of things they liked: rock music, Jessica Jones, comic books, video games, I pretty much knew I had to take them through the East Village. This neighborhood is the grittier sister of the fancy west village, and it’s absolutely awesome for colorful, fun photos. We strolled through street art, comic shops, record stores, and ended with some video game fun at Barcade.
