These two grooms could not have been sweeter gentlemen and don’t they look dapper in their matching suits? Joe and Rob flew down from Canada to elope in New York City and I had a great time getting to know them both. We met up just after dawn in one of my favorite little nooks of Brooklyn, Vinegar Hill, for some early morning light. From there we strolled down through DUMBO and out onto Brooklyn Bridge Park enjoying a bright and sunny day. We then hopped in a cab and continued on to Manhattan where we explored the Washington Mews along with the West Village being sure to stop for a snack and some coffee. After loads of photos we made our way up to Central Park where we met up with Judie for their ceremony. The original plan had been for them to wed at Ladies Pavilion. However, due to some park maintenance sprinklers we changed up the plan and headed into Belvedere Castle where a nice, quiet shady spot was procured for them to exchange vows. Judie performed a beautiful ceremony, and after making things official they were on their way to enjoy the day and a lunch at the Boat House.
Joe and Rob I hope you enjoyed your trip to NYC! Congratulations to you both and best wishes!
