Fi is from New Zealand, Tim from the UK. They met on a bus trip and the rest was history! They currently live in the UK hopping across the pond for their New York elopement before heading back to England to honeymoon by the sea in Cornwall. They were both so kind and I had a great time hanging out with them hearing about their past adventures together. We started the photos at a favorite little green space of mine, Nelson Rockefeller park near Battery Park City and then making our way through Tribeca to the Manhattan Marriage Bureau for their City Hall wedding.

City Hall was nearly empty when we arrived leading these guys to smash my old record and we got through in only about 15 minutes! Huzzah! The clerk who married them was so fun and chatted with us awhile since it was a slow day. She told us how people ask her if she gets bored doing the same thing every day. “No way!” she declared, telling us how fun it is to see all the all different people and all the crazy things people do for weddings. Fi and Tim exchanged gummy rings as a fun somewhat inside joke as their proper rings didn’t arrive in time from the jeweler. The clerk didn’t bat an eye, telling Fi and Tim they would most certainly be included in the book she wanted to write on her experiences at City Hall! 🙂
