It’s been a whirlwind few weeks as you may have guessed, but right before I left for my trip to Iceland, I had the chance to shoot a very special proposal. Amber is one of my photo friends, and one of the coolest ladies I know. So when Marley contacted me about catching the moment he popped the question, I couldn’t have been more excited!
Marley arranged not only for photos, but for a piano player in Washington Square Park, one of Amber’s favorite spots, before a romantic dinner date. I hid behind the trees and just as the sun set, they wandered by the piano, a favorite melody was played, and these two kids got engaged! And, in an only in New York moment, after we strolled around the park for a few more photos, who would be the first to congratulate the happy couple? None other then Alec Baldwin, of course. How awesome is that?! (PS… I didn’t even realize it, but Amber just pointed out that he’s actually in the background of the fourth photo!)
