Diana and Bobby found me through APW right about when I found out I was going to be moving up to Vermont. She gave me a call and asked if I’d be interested and it turned out their wedding was literally 3 days after I moved in. How perfect is that timing? I couldn’t say no! In addition, I also found out that Diana went to undergrad in Minnesota and knows people I played volleyball with in high school! It was so fun to meet a few other Midwestern folks at the wedding. 🙂
This wedding was just awesome, I’m so excited I got to be a part of it. Diana and Bobby are two of the most laid back, fun people I’ve gotten to work with and this wedding was so perfectly them. They held things at a house way out in the middle of nowhere in Craftsbury, VT. Seriously, I don’t know if I’ve ever driven that far on a dirt road. But, it was worth it. The setting was beautiful.
I love the pint glass favors and the paper cut out decorations!

I’m kind of in love with this ring shot. 🙂

These two were married overlooking the mountains. Just perfect.

They followed things up with an awesome reception that included a pig roast and brick oven pizzas! YUM!
Diana and her friends also can throw a crazy fun dance party!

Oh! And! Because they’re amazing, they had an aunt bring in ice cream cake from a special place Diana used to work at in Boston on dry ice. ICE CREAM CAKE! Why does this not happen at every wedding?? Side note: I love ice cream. 🙂

Just before the sunset I also made sure to snag them for a few more portraits. LOVE the golden mountain light!

And then it was back to the party!

Serious fun times had by all. 😀

Diana and Bobby, I can’t thank you enough for such a warm welcome and amazing introduction to the Northeast Kingdom. You guys are awesome! May you have many wonderful years ahead! Congrats! 🙂
