The J Family | Central Park Family Photographer | NYC Family Photographer
I had a great time with the J family earlier this past spring. Heidi was determined to have family pictures while they were visiting New York in Central Park, despite what the weather had in store. While it rained all morning, by the time our session time arrived, it had slowed up enough that we decided to give it a shot. It worked out great as we had the park nearly to ourselves and lots of fun puddles to jump in.

I had such a fun morning with these guys. They decided to brave the weather and we headed for Central Park despite the rain. Things turned out wonderfully though and we had lots of fun splashing in puddles and having the park to ourselves!

Louisa and I got to be friends as coworkers at the first job I had upon moving to NYC back in 2008. I was only there for 6 months, but the two of us kept in touch sharing a love of hiking, good beer, and both having husbands pursuing crazy PhD’s. When I found out she and Mark were having a little one last fall, I couldn’t have been more excited! These guys are awesome parents and I was thrilled to shoot a family session with them in Prospect Park a few weeks ago!
Iona is the cutest baby ever, and was super adorable for the entire session. You can’t ask for better subjects then this!

New York City Family Photography | Manhattan Family Photographer
I got the chance to photograph this lovely family a bit over a month ago in Manhattan. Sara and her awesome little family came to me as a referral from Offbeat Mama! As I love my OBB couples and weddings, I couldn’t wait to photograph another part of the Offbeat Empire.
My approach to family photos is the same as it is for weddings and couples, relaxed and fun. I want to photograph you and your family being yourselves and having a good time! We had a great morning hanging out in their apartment and then chasing little Luke around his grandfather’s rooftop!
Sara is also very clearly expecting in these photos, and delivered a new little one a couple weeks ago! Congratulations on your new addition!
If this isn’t an adorable family, I don’t know what is!
