Whitney & Jared | Brooklyn Engagement Photographer | Brooklyn Bridge Park | DUMBO

admin — Tue, 12 Nov 2013 20:34:37 +0000

I met up with Whitney and Jared earlier this past October for their engagement session in DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park. These guys are getting married next spring in Utah, but wanted to have some fun photos in the city while they’re living here. I had an absolute ball with them, we were laughing the whole time! Oh and if there was ever a doubt in your mind of why golden hour is the best for photos, check out the sunset images we got! I couldn’t ask for more fantastic light!

Congratulations to you both and best wishes on your big day out west!

Louisa + Mark + Iona | Brooklyn Family Photographer | Prospect Park

Louisa and I got to be friends as coworkers at the first job I had upon moving to NYC back in 2008. I was only there for 6 months, but the two of us kept in touch sharing a love of hiking, good beer, and both having husbands pursuing crazy PhD’s. When I found out she and Mark were having a little one last fall, I couldn’t have been more excited! These guys are awesome parents and I was thrilled to shoot a family session with them in Prospect Park a few weeks ago!

Iona is the cutest baby ever, and was super adorable for the entire session. You can’t ask for better subjects then this!

Aren’t they such a sweet little family??

Look out world! Here comes Iona!

I’m pretty sure Iona already has him wrapped around her little finger.

Louisa and Mark, congrats on your beautiful baby girl! Thanks for a great afternoon!

Benita emailed me a few weeks ago saying she was 34 weeks pregnant and that she and her husband had suddenly gotten the urge to take some maternity photos, and could I squeeze them in? Of course! Have I mentioned how much I love some beautiful belly sessions? And holy moly, this was a beautiful session for sure!

Aren’t they cute?

We met on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and then made our way down to the Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo.

Love this.

These guys were so fun to shoot!

And finally, seriously one of my most favorite images ever. Gorgeous.

Benita and Frank, I’m so glad you guys decided to do a session! Congratulations and best wishes to you both!

Fritzmarie & Cesar | Brooklyn Maternity Photographer | Brooklyn Bridge Park

I absolutely love doing maternity sessions. Something about growing up with a mom that works in labor and delivery makes me love working with mamas to be. This session was just beautiful, it was a super chilly day in Brooklyn, but these two braved it like it was nothing!

Also, Fritzmarie, you have the cutest pregnant belly ever!

Seriously, aren’t these two a crazy gorgeous couple?

One of the best parts of the Brooklyn Bridge Park is the new addition of the Jane’s Carousel! We couldn’t take photos in the park without a ride! So much fun!

I love this image.

Fritzmarie just let me know yesterday that she had her baby boy this weekend! Congrats to the new family and thanks so much for letting me capture your photos!
