I love photographing a Central Park tiny wedding and the intimate wedding of Linda and Hendrik was just lovely. Linda is from Germany and Hendrik is Dutch. They met in Europe and just recently moved to NYC for work and wanted to get married showing off the new city they now call home. They were married in Central Park surrounded by their family by Virginia of Joyful Day Ceremonies and it was perfect. Linda and Hendrik opted to get married in a little lakeside clearing in the Ramble just past Bow Bridge. I’ve taken lots of portraits here, but this is the first ceremony I’ve done in this particular spot. The view was beautiful and it was a great secluded spot for a ceremony.
After exchanging their vows, we wandered through the park, got a few snaps in midtown and then headed to Brooklyn for some of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge Park views. I had so much fun working with them both. Linda and Hendrik, thank you both for being so kind!
