John and Jason are two world travelers from Scotland who came to elope in New York! It was a top secret affair and I was so excited to be part of it. These two grooms were so kind and I had a great time hearing about all their travel adventures. I also always love a groom in a kilt, so having two grooms in kilts was a such treat! We started the morning by walking the Brooklyn Bridge and then headed down into Dumbo for some street art and the famous view from Washington Street. We made sure to get some skyline backdrops from the waterfront as well and then hopped in a cab for City Hall for their ceremony.
We got to the Manhattan Marriage Bureau right as they opened at 8:30am and John and Jason managed to get the third place in line for ceremonies, so we timed it perfectly! Their number was called right away and we sped through City Hall. It was great! We snapped a few quick celebratory photos outside and then I sent them on their way!
It was a wonderful day and a huge congrats to John and Jason! Thanks so much for inviting me along to document your morning, may you have a lifetime of adventures together!
