You may remember Jin and Matt from their gorgeous engagement session at South Street Seaport earlier this year. These two are so warm and friendly, and are so completely in love it made my job a piece of cake! They were married early in September in a small ceremony at the Riverside Church way up on Manhattan’s west side. I’d never been inside this place before, but the Riverside is simply stunning. Take a peek if you’re ever up on 120th.
I met up with Jin while she was getting ready, and then we headed out into Riverside Park for some photo taking. I love this area for photos, the trees with the stately columns are so photogenic. Oh yes, and this super elegant couple made things pretty great too!
Jin’s dress with Matt’s tux complete with a classic bowtie? Perfect. (Oh, and that bowtie is no clip on kids. Matt learned proper bow tie skills right before the wedding, impressive.)
After portraits, we headed into one of the tiny chapels for their ceremony. The inside of Riverside Church is simply stunning!
After the wedding, I stole them for a few more minutes to grab just a few “We’re married!” photos! 🙂
Then it was up the top floor for their reception!
Another Momofuku Milk Bar Cake! YUM!
Their first dance had a surprise guest, he stole the show! 😉
Jin and Matt, thank you SO much for having me. I wish you both the very best! Congratulations!!
