Emily is one my very best friends. She and I have known each other since our freshmen year in college and have literally been around the world and back together since then! She’s one of the best people I know, and I’m so incredibly happy that she found someone equally awesome in Matt. I was honored to shoot their wedding, but these two were so glowing and happy and easy to work with, it made my job pretty easy. 🙂
They were married at the Old Arizona in South Minneapolis, a very cool arts space with a great mission. Bonus, the surrounding spaces around the building also made for excellent photo taking! 🙂
Emily and Matt, like me, are both travel addicts, thus their card box was pretty darn near perfect. 🙂
I love the idea of having everyone write you a note for your 1st, 5th, and 10th anniversaries!
They got married on a day that kept raining on and off, but things held off just long enough for us to grab a few fun portraits around the building!
You kids make my heart happy. 🙂 Love both of these.
Emily, I love that your hands are so proper, even being tackled.
They were the first ceremony I’ve been to officiated by a Zen Buddhist Priest.
I love you both and am so excited for the many adventures you’re going to have together!
PS. You best be getting that guest room ready in Bhutan! I will be there! 🙂
Thanks to the lovely Kate for snapping a photo of me and the bride! 😉
